The Sugar Refinery has delivered phase I of a custom SugarCRM solution aimed at the home loan remortgaging vertical.

Developed specifically for a client working in this market, the solution provides features for managing leads, converting leads into applicants, simplifying the management of the loan application process, and enhanced management reporting through custom charting of the sales and commission pipelines.

Phase II of the project will add enhanced document management and manage vendor relationship management to the solution.

The Sugar Refinery has delivered customisations to the SugarCRM Invoice Module for dutch marketing specialists TMI concepts for their PromoWater product line (http://promowater.nl). The changes allow the company to generate quotes and invoices which comply with Dutch taxation policy.

Sugar Refinery Technical Director, Nick Holt, explained further "Normally, SugarCRM allows a selected tax rate to be applied to the invoice as a whole. However, TMI required a system which was able to calculate tax at different rates for different elements of the invoice. For example, transportation costs may be taxed at 19% whereas the actual goods being transported may be taxed at 6%."

The Sugar Refinery also delivered Quotation and Invoice templates in Dutch, matching the detailed specification provided by the client.

The project relied on SugarCRM's extendibility framework to ensure the changes were upgrade safe. The project was completed on time and to budget.
