The Sugar Refinery has been awarded the contract to deliver analytical customisations to SugarCRM for London University’s Bloomsbury Colleges as part of the CRM4UNI project. The Sugar Refinery will develop Pareto Analytics visualisation tools to allow University Business Development staff to better understand the opportunities available for generating increased revenue from the corporate sector.
Pareto Analysis allows an organisation to determine, for example, the proportion of revenue which is derived from various sources. An often quoted example is the 80/20 principle. Using the tool, an organisation would be able to tell at a glance if 80% of its revenue came from just 20% of its client base. The announcement follows the recent contract awarded to The Sugar Refinery by JISC RSC South East, the Government organisation responsible for promoting IT Excellence within the Education Sector. Sugar Refinery sales manager, Sally Eathorne, issued this statement, "The Sugar Refinery has now established itself as a leading supplier of SugarCRM customisation and integration to the UK Education Sector. Working with organisations such as School Fund Software, JISC RSC and now the Bloomsbury Colleges, TSR is demonstrating a firm commitment to aid Further and Higher Education organisations. We are helping these organisations achieve the corporate revenue targets the Government is setting and to do so in a cost effective way." The Sugar Refinery is also at proposal stage with several other Universities and Colleges to deliver integrated and customised SugarCRM based solutions. |
